The Banker’s Birthday week saw more than Cowboys and Indians, on Friday the 13th (of all days) we watched Suzanne take the Walk of Wealth and leave the ‘Dream Finish’ of £100,000 and £250,000 on the board in live play for the first time ever. She then swapped her box to win the coveted Jackpot.

Exclusive interview with the Birthday Boy

The Banker is just a big kid at heart and for his birthday party this year he’s playing Cowboys and Indians, complete with fancy dress and a few dastardly twists thrown into the mix. So we decided to put a few questions to Old Money Bags himself as we approach The Banker’s Birthday week:
Would you say you’re more of a Cowboy or an Indian at heart?
If I had a heart I’d tell you. As it is, next question.
As ever Noel will oversee proceedings, spending half the week as a sheriff and the other as chief. Which Noel did you prefer?
They were both equally disagreeable and as ever, badly dressed.
The players will get a chance to test their skill or put faith in lady luck for an extra special gift if they are still in live play at five box. Could you tell us a little bit more about the twists we can expect this year?
Yes I could. I could tell you. I think you mean “would”. Next time ask me if I would tell you. The answer will be no.
Friday the 13th is thrown into the mix this week, is that normally a luck day for you?
I got married on Friday the 13th. So, no.
Could you give us some more information about the fancy dress you have picked for this year?
You seem fascinated by my capabilities. Why not assume I could do anything and instead ask me if I choose to? The answer will be no.
What presents are you hoping for?

Has Noel ever brought you a birthday gift?
Yes, this year and every year he gives me the thrill of watching a television legend effortlessly making amazing television. It’s a gift he gives me every day… I’m joking of course. No.
How many birthday cards do you normally receive?
Four. One from my mother, one from my butler, one from my dogs and one from me. I make my own.
How many candles will be on your cake this year?
22, naturally.
