Celebrity Deal or No Deal: Katie Price

Sunday, May 20th, 2012

Katie Price planned to choose her birthday and ‘death box’ 22 first but she selected ball 22 at random, so it sat on the Pound Table.

Dane Bowers started her game with 50p. £75K was the biggest amount found in the opening round. The Banker offered £12K – NO DEAL.

Another one of the power five, £100K was hit in round two. So The Banker stuck at £12K – NO DEAL.

Current fiancé, Leo opened box 16 to reveal the penny! Katie had no reservation giving him the 1p kiss. £20K and £50K was a bad end to the third round. The Banker went down to £10K – NO DEAL.

Katie continued the theme of a power five in each round when £35K was hit in round four. However two blues pushed the offer up to £16K. Katie was playing for two charities, ‘Autism Independent UK’ and ‘The Vision Charity’ so it was too much to turn down – DEAL!

£10K and two blues left a strong five box which would’ve seen Katie get offered £30K.

Amazingly Katie went on to leave £250K and £5K on the board. Her final offer would’ve been £85K!

Noel flipped Katie’s box 22 to see £250K confirming Katie blew the chance to become our first celebrity Quarter of a Millionaire.

Celebrity Deal or No Deal: Peter Andre

Sunday, May 13th, 2012

Peter Andre randomly selected ball number 20, before Noel wished him good luck!

Peter got off to a troublesome start, fiddling with this microphone transmitter. “Worse than J-Lo” said The Banker. £50K, £10K, £3K and two blues completed the opening round.  The Banker joked about putting a Price on Peter to which he wittily replied, “I’m Priceless.” The opening offer was an all expenses paid trip to the Middle East, Iraq or Jordan? “More like Iran” once again retorted Peter. The Banker liked his style and offered £10K – NO DEAL. Peter is playing Deal or No Deal for ‘Health Improvement Project Zanzibar,’ founder, Dr Ruaraidh was on the wings. Ryan got the penny kiss in an all-blue second round. “How could you do this to me?” asked The Banker who offered £13K – NO DEAL. There was a nasty sting in the tail of round three, £100K! The Banker told Peter to concentrate on Zanzibar and he’d be Insania to turn down £11.5K – NO DEAL.

Peter was drawn to Tom with £5 before having a gut feeling towards Gemma with box two. Daughter of Dr Ruaraidh, Emily told Peter to go with his feeling but that was bad advice, £250K! £5K left four blues and four reds on the board at eight box. The fourth offer was £7K – NO DEAL. Dr Ruaraidh had £1 in round five; £500 and £20K were also found. Peter said the charity needs £30K to complete a primary care unit. The Banker thought his offer of £12K was a step in the right direction. Dr Ruaraidh thought Peter should take it and so did the rest of Peter’s box openers. Noel asked the question – NO DEAL. It was all or nothing when £75K was hit. Unfortunately £35K followed leaving £50 and £1K at the climax. The Banker offered £99.95p. Peter promised to personally help the charity before saying – NO DEAL. The Banker offered the swap – SWAP! Emily’s box 18 came to the table, which Noel flipped to see £1K!

Celebrity Deal or No Deal: Louis Walsh

Monday, May 7th, 2012

It was time to face the boxes for TV judge and music manager Louis Walsh. Louis brought along some famous faces to open his boxes including Jedward who said, “It’s going to be awesome!” Louis selected box eight at random so Derek took the Walk of Wealth.

X Factor star, Wagner got Louis on his way with £35K. £5K and three blues completed a decent opening round. The Banker said he loves Jedward and follows them on Twitter. Louis made it clear bribery wouldn’t work so The Banker offered £11K – NO DEAL. Louis was playing for bullying charity, ISPCC Childline. Irish Eurovision winner Linda Martin was next to open a box, £100K! £10K and £10 completed the second round. The Banker was totally erect, hair that is! He offered £4K – NO DEAL. Eoin got the penny kiss in round three. Louis admitted he was nervous before selecting Edward who pulled the seal with his teeth, £15K. £20K was also wiped from the board before The Banker offered £6K – NO DEAL.

Round four started with £500 before Keith Duffy revealed £75K. 10p made it a tricky board. The Banker’s tone had changed and he offered £14K – NO DEAL. 50p, £1 and £50K made it a one box game. Louis spoke to The Banker and asked for an offer of £20K, The Banker offered £15K. After some pressure from the wings, The Banker upped the offer to £18K but warned “don’t push me.” Louis was determined to go on – NO DEAL. £1K and £50 worried The Banker who called early to offer the £20K Louis wanted – NO DEAL. £750 left £3K and £250K on the board. After a perfect round, The Banker was forced to offer £70K. Louis spoke to The Banker before asking for the question – DEAL! Noel flipped box eight to see £3K confirming a celebrity spanking.
