Celebrity Deal or No Deal: McFly

Sunday, June 3rd, 2012

Our final famous faces are none other than… McFly! Tom and Dougie have been to the Dream Factory before but it was all new for Harry and Danny. The band decided to let Danny pick their box, he pulled out ball number 12 at random. Dougie’s Mum took the Walk of Wealth.

The big money McFlew out of the Dream Factory. £50K, £75K and Tom picked £250K in the opening round. Noel found it ironic that Tom also had £250K in his box during the live show. The Banker could be heard laughing down the phone because his first offer was just £13 – NO DEAL. McFly were splitting any prize money three ways between WWF Fund, When You Wish upon a Star and Eyes Alight. £100K was followed by two blues in round two. Danny had picked all blues so far, “found his calling” said The Banker. The offer was just 13p – NO DEAL. A much improved third round of £1K, 50p and £100 meant The Banker would do a deal for £5K – NO DEAL.

Danny had to open box 19 himself, after Thomas was thrown out. Unfortunately it contained £20K. £500 and £15K completed the fourth round. The offer of £3K was declined after a brief band meeting – NO DEAL. The top of the game, £35K was hit in round five. The Banker called to gloat and said he’ll be a Galaxy Defender for ever! The offer was £3K but The Banker would let them go on one box at a time – NO DEAL. The band went on to decline £2K and £3.3K before hitting £10 leaving a 1p / £10K two box. The Banker’s final offer of £4K was bravely turned down – NO DEAL. Tom was reluctant to swap so Noel flipped their box 12 to see £10K, sparking wild celebrations!
