That’s a wrap!

We are in our final filming week for Series Seven, which will be shown on Channel 4 until the end of 2011.

Without our mass fan base we couldn’t carry on making Deal or No Deal, so we would like to thank all our viewers for investing their time to watch and follow the show.

We would also like to give an extra special thank you to the hundreds of Pilgrims who have flocked to the Dream Factory from all over the UK. Your dedication never ceases to amaze us each Series.

We have closed the audience ticket hotline whilst we take our summer break but the audience applications shall reopen on Monday 12th September 2011. We look forward to receiving your ticket requests for next series!

Keep an eye on www.dealornodeal.co.uk, Facebook and Twitter for all the latest Deal or No Deal news and announcements.

A tribute to Mr. Arbon

Wednesday, September 15th, 2010

The Deal or No Deal team was saddened to hear of the death of long serving Pilgrim, Mr. Ronald Arbon.

Mr. Arbon has been a Pilgrim at the Dream Factory since the very first series back in 2005. He has sat through over 300 shows and featured in the Audience Hall of Fame. His kindness extended to giving chocolates to the audience team each time he visited and his contribution as a Pilgrim was enormous. He will be greatly missed by all at Deal or No Deal.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.

DEAL OR NO DEAL RETURNS FOR A NEW SEASON

Tuesday, August 17th, 2010

Monday 23rd August, 4:10pm, Channel 4

Fit and refreshed from their summer break – Noel, the Banker and the rest of the Dream Factory family are back for a thrilling new season of Deal or No Deal.

Viewers were treated to some epic and nail-biting games last season and this run promises to deliver many more.  There’ll be birthday cake all round as Deal celebrates its 5th birthday, a harrowing Halloween as Deal’s Dark Woods come to life and the ever-popular Scrooge or Santa – and that’s just before the end of the year!

The evil one paid out over £3.5 million in the last 12 months. Will we see Deal or No Deal’s third quarter of a millionaire in this one? Or will the Banker be adding to the 31 members of his 1p club? Let’s hope not….

Deal or No Deal Staff trying to tackle the snow

The Dream Factory has looked more like a Snow Factory in the last week, with the appalling weather conditions nearly halting filming. The biggest day in doubt was last Wednesday. Staff members came in early to grit paths, clear snow and make the studio accessible but we thought there was little chance of an audience turning up. We couldn’t have been more wrong.

We had DoND fans travelling hundreds of miles in nightmare conditions to be with us. One audience member left Derbyshire in the early hours of Wednesday morning to get to Bristol for a 9am start. A mother and daughter made a 200 mile journey and stayed over night in a hotel so they could attend a show. And a group of girls battled their way through ice and snow to the studio and stayed for the whole day despite having to travel back to Birmingham that night!

If it hadn’t of been for these exceptional people, those shows would have been cancelled. It was a real team effort to carry on with the filming and that created a fantastic atmosphere at the Dream Factory.
