A Tribute to Deano

Everyone associated with Deal or No Deal was saddened to hear of the death of ex-contestant, Deano Brown. A ‘larger than life’ character, Deano was also the first contestant to use the phrase ‘death box’ to describe box 22, which is still used to this day.

Deano’s game was full of fun and at one point he even got to tell Noel off followed by a hug which is bound to stay in Noel’s memory for a long time yet. Deano spanked The Banker in 2008 taking away £17,019, which allowed him to travel to America to find his dad.

Deano described his Deal or No Deal experience as “life changing” and you can watch his full interview here >>>

Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.

My thanks to the deal staff for putting this tribute on for him I remember his game and his character. What a great man he was and was so glad he managed to win the money to go over to find his Dad in America I hope that he managed to do it.
